Two-time GRAMMY Award winner and 2021 Gramophone Artist of the Year, James Ehnes, is joined by Trumpeter Jens Lindemann, pianists John Kimura Parker and Robi Botos, and big band for Jazz@SCMS presented by the Seattle Chamber Music Society. This concert features the virtuosic Rhapsody in Blue for Piano and Big Band and the Canadiana Suite composed by legendary jazz pianist Oscar Peterson. Departing from classical performances SCMS has been known for over the past 40 years, this concert highlights technical mastery and musicianship through the jazz lens.
